Outlook for 2012

2011 was a year spent mostly on writing. I finished the major book I have been working on since 2008, entitled
Evolution's Purpose; An Integral Interpretation of the Scientific Story of Our Origins. As mentioned in a previous blog post, this book will soon be published by New York-based Select Books, which has done an excellent job with the publication of Andrew Cohen's new book
Evolutionary Enlightenment. When the book hits the shelves in the Spring, I'll be gearing up for a book tour and otherwise increasing my public visibility again.
While waiting on the publishing cycle for
Evolution's Purpose, I also kept the creative momentum going by writing a short spiritual book about my favorite sport of mountain bike riding, entitled:
Meditations on the Mountain Bicycle. This manuscript is currently under consideration by a variety of publishers, and I hope to have an announcement about it soon.
Beginning last fall I also started the research for my next major spiritual philosophy book, but I have to keep that under wraps until it nears completion next year. Please check back with this blog in the coming months for more on the Spring publication of
Evolution's Purpose.
I wish everyone the best for the coming year.
